A unique handcrafted ephemera journal. These books are amongst my favourite things to create. Over many years I've collected antique papers, fabrics and photographs from many sources, and these books are the perfect way to give them a new life.
 
The pages are made from a wide variety of papers and are combined with vintage photographs, images, textures, stitch, and small pieces of collage and artwork. See the video flip-through to see the whole journal.
 
The cover is an original collage made from antique paper and a fabric print of flowers handstitched with French knots in antique silk thread. The spine is covered in reclaimed suede fabric.The spine is made from pieces of linen and stitch.
 
The sleeve is made from handwoven hemp and embellished with a stitched scrap of antique sari silk printed with a photograph I took of a bird and a tree.
