A unique handcrafted ephemera journal. These books are amongst my favourite things to create. Over many years I've collected antique papers, fabrics and photographs from many sources, and these books are the perfect way to give them a new life.
 
The pages are made from a wide variety of papers and are combined with vintage photographs, images, textures, stitch, and small pieces of collage and artwork. See the video flip-through to see the whole journal.
 
The cover is created from an old book cover from around 1910. It is decorated with an original collage made from fabric scraps with a vintage photograph and antique scraps of paper.
 
The sleeve is made from handwoven hemp and embellished with a stitched scrap of antique sari silk printed with a photograph I took of a bird and a tree.
