This beautiful original assemblage artwork was created as part of the Artful Memories Challenge, where a new piece is made each day in response to a creative prompt. The inspiration for this piece was:
 
"Sophie collected moments, not things."
 
I used an antique cabinet card portrait photo and surrounded it with words from a Mary Oliver poem, typed on an antique typewriter. The artwork is presented in a vintage playing card box that I carefully adapted to complement the piece.
 
Dimensions: approximately 2.5 x 3.5 x 1 inches plus about 2 inches where the legs extend.
