This beautiful original assemblage artwork was created as part of the Artful Memories Challenge, where a new piece is made each day in response to a creative prompt. The inspiration for this piece was:
 
"Yuki discovered her cherry trees were whispering secrets only she could hear."
 
I combined an antique photograph with hand-painted cherry stones, each adorned with delicate cherry blossom imagery. The artwork is presented in a vintage playing card box that I carefully adapted to complement the piece.
