In this 3-day workshop you’ll transform vintage ephemera, photographs, and textiles into a handmade art journal that feels both personal and timeless. Through gentle techniques in collage, stitch, and mixed media, you’ll weave together fragments of history, nature, and memory, creating a beautifully textured book that tells its own story.

Discover the creative magic of Porto at Relics of Nature, where art, place, and nature come together.
Porto’s steep, cobbled streets, glowing azulejo tiles, riverside views, and atmospheric cafés set the scene. We’ll wander, gather natural treasures, enjoy amazing food, browse vintage markets, and soak up the city’s irresistible beauty.
Back in the studio, you’ll dive into making, you’ll layer vintage papers, fabrics, and natural materials into expressive pieces, and create a unique container to hold your finished works.
You’ll head home with a meaningful collection of artworks, and the feeling of having truly created in the heart of Portugal.

Museum of the Wild is a slow, sensory art retreat on Ireland’s dramatic Atlantic coast. Over several days at Essence of Mulranny, we’ll gather natural fragments, weather textiles in salt and wind, sketch and stitch, and create a personal museum-in-a-box that curates your memories of this extraordinary landscape.
Inspired by the practices of early explorers and naturalists, this retreat invites you to become both maker and collector, weaving folklore, dark skies, sea air and story into tactile relics you’ll treasure long after you return home.
