Yes. There are no techniques to learn first and no artistic skill needed, the book is about ideas and starting points, not methods. And there's no right or wrong way to use it: take what interests you, adapt it to your own way of creating.

No, it's a digital book you download and keep.

Can I read it on an iPad or a Kindle?

An iPad or any tablet, yes. A Kindle will open a PDF, but the pages are designed rather than reflowable, so a tablet, phone or computer gives you a better read.

What materials do I need?

A handmade book, journal or sketchbook you'd like to use, and whatever you already work with: paper scraps, photographs, paint, fabric, glue, a pen. The first exercise begins with collecting small found things, so there's nothing to buy.

Yes. You can print one copy for your own use, at home or at a print shop. There's a printing permission note inside the file for print shops that ask for one.
