This is a set of 20 antique train timetable pages. The pages come from a selection of timetable books from 1912 to the 1950s. The images shown here are just a sample of those included.
 
They cover areas in the UK, Italy and France.  I've included pages that have the actual timetables on them and also some that have travel information such as the costs for passengers to have their luggage delivered, where public telephones can be found in UK stations (100+ years ago!), two of the book covers, the price of tickets to the Continent and other interesting pages.  Looking at these really conjure up images from old black & white movies of genteel folk  in smoky stations with guards blowing their whistles as the steam trains leave the station...think 'Brief Encounter'!
Fabulous to use in travel journals, art projects, scrapbooks.
