The Harry Smith Journal, 18 Pages

These are scans of collage pages I made by hand, built from a box of real ephemera I bought at auction. Nothing here is AI-generated.
Inside that box were letters, photographs, poems and documents belonging to a man called Harry Smith, born in 1925. It was such a rich supply that I decided to pull it together into a visual story of his life.
The collages hold letters, postcards, photographs, stamps, his birth and baptism certificates, a college letter, envelopes, and butterfly and bird motifs, blended with hand stitching, painting and drawing. Alongside the collages I've included scans of some of the original ephemera for you to use as you wish.
There's a flip through of the journal here: https://youtu.be/MuwVsQ1lN4M
You will receive: 18 files, 300dpi JPEG, A4. Ten double-page collage scans, a double-page scan of the inside covers, eight sepia photographs, four altered photographs, a wartime Active Service envelope, a typed letter and envelope, a 1954 college receipt, handwritten letters and a typed poem.
