Welcome to Celestial Relics: Angel Books and Beyond, a gentle, imaginative journey into the art of transforming the everyday into the extraordinary.
In this class, you’ll learn to transform simple materials into beautiful, aged-style art books.
I’ll guide you through each stage, sharing techniques that you can adapt to any theme or imagery that inspires you.
The course will have three options;
Foundation: learn to create beautiful angel books
Enriched: learn to make angel books plus additional techniques for using any choice of theme or images
Creative Companion: all the lessons plus a one-to-one mentoring session with me.
Techniques you'll learn

Preparing the base - how to prepare the book’s pages and cover, collaging papers to create an interesting foundation

Working with tissue - techniques for printing and layering with tissue to build depth and subtle texture.

Blending and enhancing - how to use paints, metallics, and texture pastes to blend images and add aged effects.

Finishing touches - adding sketches, creating a fabric spine and details that give your book a finished, vintage look.
The first 250 course enrollments will get a free digital download "Timeworn Textures" - Fifteen digital downloads of aged paper and fabric...worn, weathered, and full of stories.
